Hello all
For the beginning I will post here what I intent to buid with stuff I already have: nanocrystaline and ferrite cores and Jantzen coils.
Project 1
Project 2
I do not know which one will work - first one has alternate rotating magnetic fields ; second one oposite rotating magnetic fiels
Any advice from experienced builders will be highly appreciated.
Best regards

Hello CB
If I understood correctly your first setup has 6 coils and the second 8 coils?
Jagau
Hello Jagau, thank for asking. Yes the first setup is easier to build and I already did a HALF test
For the second one I wonder how to wind coils on that part of core because it seams very difficult.
First half test: Middle coil is exciter fed on 14V AC

Hi,
I would advise to check the details in the ZPM thread.
Be very careful at the directions of the coils winding, how they are connected to each other and the polarity of the pulses coming to each of their endings.
ZPM should be built like this:
And it should look like this:
I agree placing the coils in those places on the core are difficult, you can place the coils on top and bottop sides of the core (not on the left and right sides) but the rest of the details above should be respected.
Also here is the procedure to find your ZPM's optimal/resonant frequency:
And keep in mind the optimal/resonant frequency will change when you change the light bulbs (more specific when connecting light bulbs with different wattage) or when you change the input parameters (duty-cycle, voltage, etc.).

Fighter

Hi Fighter, thank you very much. I will follow instructions.
I posted 2 variants in order to see if they are ok as concept.
Best regards
