No problem fighter, if you have the time do this little test to check if the voltage from the environment enters your circuit.
At the place where there is an x, cut the circuit there and place a DDM on the + at up and below the -whre you see red arrows. Install your two grounds, and you should already read a DC voltage here on your DDM below 4 volts .
If you do not have any voltage maybe one of your diodes is badly polarized,
If you have DC voltage, the problem is after the X follows your voltage.
One thing, do not use a schottky diode for the bridge, rather use ultra fast diodes, it's better because we are in very very low voltage and current. Jagau
That junction is connected to the ground, I drawn a line showing how the holes are connected in that section:
Ignore the red color of the connector, I tried both ways switching the black and red connectors, the behavior is the same.
I think the best approach to find the issue is to create a new thread with my replication (in order to not derail this thread), to take very close photo of the replication (so I can have a bigger picture) and to draw all the connections like I did with the connection above.
That would help in comparing the circuit with the schema and eventually identify the issue.
If that doesn't work the most radical approach is to remove everything from the board and start rebuilding it.
Right now I don't have too much time to do these as I have a lot of work to do at job and also to create a declaration for the court in the trial I told you about, most likely I'll have time to do all these in the weekend.

Ok the next test will be this one, cut the diode connection at the top as in the example here and you should have a few volts at the output of your bridge?
While checking the order I found that I mistakenly ordered 2.2, 4.7 and 1 ohm resistors. In the order there are no 2.2, 4.7 and 1 Mega-ohm resistors as they should be. This is what happens when ordering electronic components after midnight when being tired... 🙂
Jagau, I didn't tried yet the test you recommended as most likely this is the cause of device's malfunction. I'll search to find and order correct resistors then I'll see how it goes and if there are additional issues.

Thank you Jagau, let's hope those wrong resistors are the only issues.
The store sent confirmation that the shipment (containing the resistors and other small additional components) was taken by the courier, hopefully tomorrow I'll receive it.

Yesterday I received the shipment, unfortunately the store didn't put in the box the 2.2M resistors so I needed to improvise with 2 x 1M resistors (I ordered some extra pieces of each type).
The device is functional now and here is the video:
In the video you can notice the improvised 2 x 1M in series, I'll replace them when I'll order components again 🙂
The pulsing light is very strong and it can be seen in the dark on all the walls of the room. Looking directly at the LED gives the effect of blinding for a few seconds.
You'll notice the pulses go faster when I touch the metalic edge of the desk with my finger, that's extra-energy provided by my body.
Also the device seems to be very sensitive, if you watch carefully you'll notice the pulses are faster when I take the device in my hand to show it to the camera at some point. There is no direct contact between my hand and the circuit but still the pulses are faster at that moment.
This is a replication so of course all the credits go to Jagau !
