Energy Gains in Adam's patent.

Is there energy Gains in Adam’s patent, the great question.

I built an Adams motor using a computer HDD to simplify the assembly of the bearings and with the installation of six permanent neodymium magnets on the rotor. This is Robert Adams’ first advice in order to understand the operation and then build a bigger one.

In order to study the behavior of the motor I use two 5 milli-henry coils on each side at 180 degrees from each other with the left side winding CCW and the right CW, the coils are connected in series.

The control system will be done with an Arduino mega 2560 using a hall effect sensor S277 for detecting the position of the rotor relative to the magnets. On the hall sensor S277 that I recovered from a computer fan, only the DO output (pin 2) will be used to give the interrupt detection instruction (it is in the Arduino program) in order to activate a 6N136  optocoupler to give a pulse on the Gate of the Nmos IRF3205 which will activate the two coils in series of the motor as declared by the inventor Mr. Robert Adams.

N.Tesla 142.352.

142'352? Is this a patent number? If yes, than can you post the patent?

Hello Atti

When I built the first Adams motor, I did not pay attention to the polar surface of the magnets versus those of the coils.

After much reading in the NEXSUS magazine in which Dr. Robert Adams made all his statements, the polar surface compared to the drive coils must be 4 for the rotor magnets and 1 for the drive coils.

For the generator coils, it is the opposite, the polar surface of the generator coils must be 4 times larger than the polar surface of the rotor magnets.

We can very well visualize here in this photo one of these publications the polar surface generator, drive coils versus rotor magnet

I am redoing my coils with this new data and I am also changing my rotor magnets with Alinco ferrite magnets as recommended by Mr. Adams. Do not use magnets at the beginning, learn to understand the effects before increasing the voltageas per his recommandation.

P.S. nice presentation with your metglass video, we can clearly see the influence of loosely mounted coils.

Hi Vasik and Jagau.

Vasik.

You can find it here.

You are absolutely right about that. But I wasn't talking about that, I was talking about the distance between the two magnets. In other words, in another system (e.g. primary excitation of a transformer), the time between the two pulses. Or rather, what happens during that time.

Notice what happens in the pause between the two pulses. This is the time for the secondary change.
Also from 46:00.

This is why I am curious to study the phenomena to understand it better.

In my own way I am looking for correlations between different arrangements.

Oh... you have the canadian patent. I get it now. For others interested it is US787412 equivalent.

I haven't received the Alnico magnets yet to do the new Adams tests.
Arduino is a great hobby in the meantime.

There is only one way for the Adams engine to work on beyound unity, as its inventor says,

the Adams engine must be operated in disruptive discharge mode.

One reason that such a motor operates so well with these discharges is that the difference of phase between the primary and secondary currents is 90 degrees, which is generally not the case with harmonically rising and falling currents of low frequency.

It might not be without interest to show an experiment with a simple motor of this kind, inasmuch as it is commonly thought that disruptive discharges are unsuitable for such purposes.

This is how N,Tesla have done

This is what I will do with the Adams engine.
